Victoria Caroline Adams' Birthday
|
Victoria Adams joined the
all-girl group Spice Girls in 1994 in response to an advertisement which
sought girls who were "street smart, extrovert, ambitious and able to sing
and dance". Each member of the group received a nickname from the media.
Victoria was called Posh Spice because of her image as someone who revels in
wealth.
Victoriae met
soccer star David Beckham in 1997,who later told Britain's Sun. "She's my idea of
perfection. I knew that if she wanted me, we would be together forever."
Of their initial meeting Victoria said, "I didn't really know who he was. I was
never into football." The couple announced their engagement in 1998
and were dubbed "Posh and Becks" by the media and were later married on July
4, 1999 with their four-month old son as ring bearer.
After her Spice Girl gig and a boring attempt as a solo recording artist,
Victoria has become better recognized as an international style icon, rather
than a music artist and .served as British ambassador for Dolce and Gabbana
and was briefly the face of Rocawear in 2003. She launched a series of
celebrity fashion products including clothing, handbags, eyewear, cosmetics,
and perfume. She also created a media frenzy with David when they both posed
for Armani underwear ads.According to some media reports, Victoria plans to team up
with chef Gordon Ramsay to open a British-themed restaurant in LA,
Here is a menu suggestion for both the planned restaurant and her
birthday that couldn't be more appropriate since the former
Spice Girl celebrated her son Romeo's birthday at the Cheesecake Factory in
Beverly Hills. Although this cheesecake shares her spice girl's name, it is
not an eponymous recipe but still makes a perfect birthday treat. We suggest
pairing it with a DVD of .Spice World (1997)
with this memorable
dialogue.

It must be so hard for you, Victoria. I
mean, having to decide whether to wear
the little Gucci dress, the little Gucci dress, or... the little Gucci
dress! |

Exactly. |

Baby: |

I know, why don't you wear the little Gucci
dress? |

Posh: |
|
Good idea. Thanks, Em. |
