Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof

When Dante Alighieri wrote The Inferno and had Virgil guide him through the nine circles of Hell, he should have added a tenth circle in
which celebrities who give their children weird names would be damned for
eternity. These would include Geri Halliwell for naming her daughter
Bluebell Madonna; Nicholas Cage for naming his son Kal-El Coppola (Kal-El is
Superman’s original birth name); Penn Gillette for naming his daughter Moxie
CrimeFighter; and Bob Geldof and Paula Yates for naming three of their
daughters Fifi Trixibel,
Heavenly Hiranni
Tiger Lilly,
and Peaches Honeyblossom. When Peaches was
sixteen, she complained to the press, "I
hate ridiculous names, my weird name has haunted me all my life."
Peaches wrote and presented her own reality television
program called "Peaches Geldof: Teenage Mind" in 2005. She was
then featured in an irreverent British TV concoction titled "The Beginners'
Guide to Islam." Peaches then covered the NME Awards 2007 for
Brittan's
Channel 4 (who called her a "precocious London party
girl"), and has also been regularly contributing to The Guardian,
The Daily
Telegraph, and Elle Girl magazine.
In 2008, she married Max Drummey, a guitarist for the
American band Chester French n Las Vegas and had each other's
names tattooed on their hands. The marriage ended the following year.
In 2009 Peaches was signed to a six-figure
modeling deal to become the face of the Miss Ultimo collection. According to Michelle Mone, the head of Ultimo underwear, "Peaches was the perfect
choice for this campaign. She's young, edgy with lashings of style."
Also in 2009, Peaches revealed in the ITV2 documentary
Fearne and....Peaches Geldof, that she was interested in and had begun following
Scientology. According to Peaches, "I've
been one for a while now,' she admits. 'It's like, I was confused about what
path to go through and I feel like I needed a spiritual path. I felt I was lacking something when I didn't have a faith. In
the end, all it's about is making yourself a better person."
Peaches loves to eat a hearty meal. According to Peaches, "I eat. I can't bear people who don't eat. I think it is
horrible that Victoria Beckham is a role model. She is vile. Girls should
have curves." So what would be more appropriate to celebrate the birthday of
this wise, delicious TV reality star, socialite. author, model, and
scientologist, than sage nutty peaches baked in honey and pairing it with a
DVD of
Peaches Geldof: Teenage Mind ?
