Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler's Birthday
 

  
 

Born in Madrid, and the son of international singing star Julio Iglesias, Enrique is a multi-million album selling singer and occasional actor. After the kidnapping of his grandfather in Spain in 1985, Enrique moved to Miami.  While attending the University of Miami, he went into an audition singing under the name Enrique Martínez so that he wouldn't be connected to his famous father. It was under that alias that he promoted his demos across Central America and cut his first album.

In 1996, Enrique released his first album in Spanish, the self-titled Enrique. Iglesias, and went on to become the hottest teen heartthrob of the late 90s with thousands of young girls responding hysterically to his appearances, reminiscent of Beatlemania. By 1999, Iglesias had begun a successful cross-over into the English music market.

Enrique has sold over 60 million Spanish and English albums worldwide, a had two Billboard Hot 100 #1s and one #3, and holds the record for producing 19 number #1 Spanish-language singles on the Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks.

'Enrique has been linked romantically with many women including actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and with tennis star Anna Kournikova with whom there were reports of the couple having been married and subsequently divorced. Enrique has told reporters that the rumors of his marriage to Kournikova were simply a joke.

is very well known for joking with the media about many topics including his relationships and the size of his penis. In an interview with Esquire, he stated , he stated  that "I can never find extra-small condoms, and I know it's really embarrassing for people - you know, from experience." To remedy the problem,  he was bringing out his own line of extra-small condoms that allegedly were going to be manufactured by Lifestyle condoms The story persisted for so long that Iglesias tried to retract his statement and said. "I said I had a small penis as a joke. And they took it literally when it is not the truth."

The recipe for Enrique's birthday is made with cazzetti (little pricks in Italian). These penis-shaped pasta are popular in major Italian cities and can be ordered in the United States from Italian Harvest in South San Francisco (650- 871-2959) and via the web. However, the cazzetti from Italian Harvest are packaged mixed with fichette (vagina-shaped pasta), so you will have to separate the penises from the vaginas for the following recipe. Cazzetti in Vodka Sauce

  
Ingredients  
   
1 lb cazzetti, cooked al dente
2 TB extra virgin olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 green pepper, cut onto small pieces
 		 1 pinch hot pepper flakes
3/4 cup vodka
salt and pepper
2 TB  fresh parsley, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
 		  
Instructions
 		  
1.  Put the olive oil into the pan and add the onions and garlic.
2.  Turn on the heat to medium-low and gently cook for a few minutes.
3.  Add the red pepper flakes cook 1 minute add crushed tomatoes and green pepper.
4.  Raise the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a boil.
5.  Add the vodka and a pinch of salt and pepper simmer uncovered for about 8 minutes over medium-low heat.
6.  Add the cream and lower the heat, add drained pasta and toss in parsley.
7.  Stir to coat well and add a cup of freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano.
8.  Serve immediately sprinkled with more Parmigiano-Reggiano.
